Dr. Cheryl Morgan

iEARN and International work
Cheryl Morgan is a strong advocate for global understanding and active learning. Cheryl has been involved in iEARN since 1990,
when she linked her High School in Seattle USA to a Secondary School in London UK through a joint drama production. Between 2005-2008, Cheryl served on the Executive Council for iEARN International, representing 125 iEARN countries around the globe. Cheryl Morgan is the Chair of Trustees for iEARN UK, a registered Charity.
Cheryl has 43 years of experience in education. She received a PhD in educational research from the University of Washington in Washington State, USA and was the Principal of three high schools in the USA before moving to the UK. Since 1992, Cheryl has worked in the UK as a teacher, FE staff tutor, programme leader, Senior Development Adviser for Key Skills in Wales and Head of School Effectiveness and Innovations Branch in the Welsh Assembly Government. Cheryl is both widely published and widely travelled.
