# Planting a Tree for the International Day of Peace - 21st September 2004. Coleg Morgannwg students planted a young Horse-Chestnut tree on behalf of YouthCan Cymru and iEARN UK. Another Tree for Aberdare Campus
# iEARN International Conference in Kosice, Slovakia, July 2004. The UK was well represented at the annual iEARN Conference in Kosice with 17 delegates. This included 9 staff and students from YouthCan Aberdare in Wales. Everyone agreed that attending the iEARN International Conference was a life changing experience. It renewed our commitment to the vision of iEARN in connecting youth and making a difference in the world. The week-long conference attended by over 600 students, teachers, parents and education officials from over 40 countries was full of joy and sharing. The UK delegates gave a number of presentations at the conference:
